Product detailed description

Alfalfa (Alfalfa) – Sprouting seeds for vitality and hormonal balance

Discover the power of alfalfa, also known as Alfalfa, whose small round seeds turn into incredibly tender and nutritious shoots through sprouting. These sprouts are not only a tasty addition to the diet, but above all a concentrated source of vitamins, minerals and other bioactive substances that bring a range of health benefits.

Natural support not only for women

Alfalfa sprouts are highly valued for their specific effects and rich nutritional profile:

  • For female harmony: They are a valuable source of phytoestrogens, which are plant hormones that can naturally help ease the unpleasant symptoms of menopause.
  • Vitamin bomb: Thanks to their high content of vitamins A, E and the B vitamin complex, alfalfa sprouts are recommended as a great dietary supplement for pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as for people on a meat-free diet.
  • Overall vitality: The contained vitamin B12 helps prevent heart disease and has anti-cancer effects. The substances contained in the sprouts also contribute to strengthening muscles, bones and teeth.

Simple sprouting guide

Growing fresh alfalfa sprouts at home is easy and quick:

  1. Soaking: First soak the seeds in water for 6 to 8 hours.
  2. Preparation: After soaking, rinse them thoroughly and place them in a clean sprouting container.
  3. Dark phase: Leave the container with the seeds in a dark place for the first 2 days.
  4. Light phase: For the next 2 to 4 days, move the sprouts to daylight (avoid direct sunlight).
  5. Regular care: Throughout the process, it is essential to rinse the sprouts twice a day with clean water. Keep them warm, ideally at a temperature of around 20 °C.

Harvest and storage

The whole process takes approximately 7 to 8 days, when the shoots are fully ready to eat. For the best taste and maximum nutrient content, we recommend consuming them as soon as possible after harvest. If necessary, you can store them in the refrigerator, but for no longer than two to three days.
