If you love the legendary Haze genetics but are put off by their long flowering time or demanding nature, Amnesia Dream XL Auto from Kannabia Seed Company is the solution for you. This feminised auto-flowering variety was developed as a “Super Auto”. The breeders' aim was to overcome the usual limits of auto-flowering plants in terms of size and yield. The result is a sativa-dominant hybrid that offers production and vigour comparable to photoperiod varieties, but in a significantly shorter life cycle.

Genetic origin: Stabilising a legend

The basis of this variety is careful selection and crossing. The parent lines are the original Amnesia Haze x Ruderalis. The project focused on ensuring that the plant retained the structural integrity, high resin production and unmistakable aromatic profile of the original Amnesia. Thanks to the Ruderalis genes, it gained the ability to flower automatically without any degradation in the quality of the resulting flowers. You thus get the best of both worlds: Haze quality and the speed of an auto.

Morphology and XL yields

As the “XL” designation suggests, this plant grows taller than average autos. Indoors, it usually stays within 60–90 cm, but if you give it enough space for the roots when growing outdoors (outdoor), it can easily reach a height of up to 120 cm. It forms a robust, branched structure with a strong central stem surrounded by vigorous side branches.

The flowers are surprisingly dense, compact and voluminous for a sativa. They are heavy and covered with a high amount of resin, which gives them a sticky texture and a frosty appearance that is highly valued in auto-flowering varieties.

Cultivation and sophisticated aroma

The entire life cycle from seed to harvest takes approximately 70 to 75 days. The plant is resilient and tolerates various environmental stresses well, making it a variety with easy to medium difficulty. Outdoors, you can grow it throughout the whole season (from March to October), as long as temperatures do not drop below 10 °C. Yields are excellent for an auto – outdoors, one plant can produce 200 to 300 grams under optimal conditions.

The aromatic profile remains true to the Haze line. It is elegant and sophisticated. It is dominated by fresh citrus notes of lemon and lime, enriched with complex floral nuances and an earthy base. Experienced growers will also recognise a subtle hint of metal or spice, which gives the aroma extra sharpness.
