Ztrawberry: Strawberry sweetness and robust genetics
Discover the unique combination of old Swiss school and modern American genetics. Ztrawberry was created by crossing the famous AMS (Anti-Mold Strain), known for its sweet red fruit profile and incredible resistance to mould, with the world-famous Runtz. The result is a highly productive and aromatically exceptional plant.
Exceptionally sweet terpene profile
The terpene profile is extraordinarily sweet and complex. It perfectly combines the distinct sweetness of red fruit and strawberries from AMS with the candy, gassy and creamy notes from the Runtz line. On exhale, the flavour is dominated by a clear strawberry note, beautifully balanced by an earthy and mossy background. The dominant terpenes are myrcene, D-limonene and β-caryophyllene.
Structure and growing characteristics
Ztrawberry shows extremely vigorous growth and develops into a classic Christmas tree shape with a strong main stem and numerous robust side branches. It is characterised by short internodal distances and broad, dark green leaves. A key advantage is high resistance to mould, inherited from the AMS parent, which makes it a reliable choice for various climates.
The flowers are long, conical and very dense, with large calyxes. Towards the end of the cycle, the plant can develop beautiful dark purple and reddish hues.
Cultivation and massive yields
Indoors, it will please you with a fast flowering time of 8–9 weeks, and it is capable of producing up to 700–800 grams per square metre.
When grown outdoors, it is ready for harvest at the end of September, which is a major advantage for growers in our conditions. It grows to a height of 150–250 cm and can deliver a harvest of up to 1200 grams per plant.
