For all growers who want to experience one of the most iconic strains in the world without unnecessary waiting, there is White Widow Auto. This auto-flowering version retains all the qualities of its photoperiod mother – the legendary cross of Brazilian sativa and South Indian indica – but adds the benefits of incredible speed and ease of cultivation.
Terpene profile and flower characteristics
Its best-known feature is the absolutely stunning resin production. Dense and compact flowers are completely covered with a thick, frosty white blanket of trichomes, which gave this strain its name. The terpene profile is pungent and faithfully reflects the original – it is a complex blend of spicy, peppery and incense-like notes with a deep earthy and woody background.
Fast life cycle and easy cultivation
The entire life cycle from seed to harvest takes just 9 weeks, while the flowering phase itself takes only 7 weeks. It is an exceptionally easy-to-grow and forgiving plant, making it a perfect choice for complete beginners. Thanks to its uniform and compact size, it is also a great candidate for the SOG (Sea of Green) method.
As an auto-flowering strain, it can flower under 12 to 18 hours of light per day and can be grown all year round, provided temperatures do not drop below 10 °C.
Structure and production
White Widow Auto grows into a short, vigorous and bushy plant with a classic indica structure, usually reaching a height of 70–80 cm. Despite its speed and discreet size, it is a generous producer – indoors you can expect a harvest of up to 600 grams per square metre, while outdoors one plant will provide a solid 70–80 grams.
