Wedding Cake is a feminised strain that earned its name thanks to its phenomenal appearance. Its flowers are so densely covered in resin crystals that they resemble a luxurious wedding cake. This genetics with 80% indica dominance and 24% THC is the result of careful selection from legendary ancestors such as Cherry Pie, Girl Scout Cookies and OG Kush.
This annual plant produces dense, compact flowers that can turn into beautiful purple and pink shades during flowering. Its structure is typically indica-like – bushy, with vigorous side branching, which contributes to its huge yield potential.
Growing Wedding Cake: Reliability and maximum yields
One of the greatest strengths of this strain is its undemanding nature and resilience. It is an ideal choice for beginner growers, because it is very forgiving and does not require complicated care. In indoor conditions it reaches a compact height of 90-100 cm and, after an incredibly short flowering time of just 55-60 days, will reward you with a monstrous yield of up to 650 g/m².
When grown outdoor, Wedding Cake turns into a real monster. It can grow to a height of 180-200 cm and its production is simply astonishing – under optimal conditions you can harvest up to 2000 grams per plant.
