Tropical Jam is a premium photoperiod annual plant from a limited edition, combining the Tropicanna Cookies line with the selected Animal Face Mints clone. This genetic fusion brings dynamic vegetative growth, high stability and above-standard resin production.

During cultivation, you will appreciate its robust resistance to changing environmental conditions and balanced growth pattern. The plant has an open canopy with generous internodal spacing, facilitating light penetration and natural air circulation throughout the entire crop without the need for drastic intervention.

Plant architecture and stunning purple coloration

The plant develops a sturdy structure resembling a symmetrical Christmas tree, with large, medium-width fan leaves. The flowers mature to high density and compact volume, being evenly distributed not only along the main stem but also along all lateral branches. The entire surface of the flowers and adjacent leaves is covered with a dense layer of sticky glandular trichomes.

Approximately 80% of plants show a fascinating colour transformation during the final two weeks of flowering. If you ensure a drop in night-time temperatures of around 10 °C during this period, the flowers and bracts will develop deep violet to purple shades, creating a beautiful contrast with the sparkling resin.

Yield potential and cultivation specifications

Indoors, the flowering period lasts 58 to 63 days (approximately 8 to 9 weeks), providing a generous yield of 550-600 g/m2. Outdoors, harvesting takes place at the turn of September and October. In open soil, the plant can reach a height of 2.6 to 2.8 metres with an impressive yield of up to 1,300 g per plant.

Due to the high weight and density of the flowers on secondary branches, we recommend providing the branches with firm mechanical support or a support net during the final three weeks of flowering. Its undemanding nature makes it suitable for moderately experienced and experienced growers seeking a stable and productive annual plant.

The aromatic profile of this variety represents an intense tropical explosion. The aroma opens with sweet notes of passion fruit (maracuja) jam and ripe guava, accompanied by fresh citrus peel and a subtle hint of cooling mint. This sweet, fruity base is harmoniously balanced by a dense, earthy and gassy Kush-line undertone.
