Tangie: A classic with an unmistakable citrus aroma
Tangie pays tribute to the legendary Tangerine Dream variety and represents a modern classic that has won the hearts of growers around the world. It was created by crossing California Orange and a Skunk #1 hybrid, which gave it a strong sativa dominance (70%) and, above all, one of the most distinctive citrus terpene profiles on the market.
Indoor growing: It calls for training
Thanks to its sativa genetics, Tangie tends to stretch significantly. Indoors, it can grow to a height of up to 150 cm, so it is an ideal choice for growers who master growth control techniques such as SCROG (Screen of Green). In this way, you maximise light use and support even flower development.
After a flowering phase lasting 9-10 weeks, it rewards you with generous yields in the range of 450-550 g/m².
Outdoor growing: Potential for a huge harvest
Outdoors, Tangie shows its true strength and can turn into a real giant, often exceeding a height of 200 cm. It thrives best in a warm and sunny climate reminiscent of the Mediterranean. In addition, it shows excellent resistance to humidity and mould.
Harvest takes place at the end of September / beginning of October. Under ideal conditions, one plant is capable of producing an incredible up to 1000 grams, making it one of the most productive varieties for outdoor growing.
Appearance and terpene profile: Sativa in all its beauty
The plant has a classic sativa structure - it is tall, with pronounced side branching. The flowers are dense, light green, decorated with bright orange pistils and covered with a generous layer of crystalline trichomes.
Its terpene profile, rich in myrcene, terpinolene and pinene, is absolutely dominant. It gives off a strong, refreshing and sweet aroma of fresh mandarins and citrus, which is fully reflected in its overall character.
