Super Silver Haze earned its legendary status by winning the High Times Cannabis Cup three years in a row (1997, 1998, 1999). This masterful cross of Skunk, Northern Lights and Haze genetics is still synonymous with top quality and huge yields.
Terpene profile and characteristics
The terpene profile is complex and represents the quintessence of a sativa experience. Dominant is the strong, recognisable Haze aroma, which blends with fruity and citrus notes, all underlined by deep earthy and spicy undertones. It is a scent that defined an entire generation.
Structure and growing characteristics
Super Silver Haze shows the classic growth pattern of a sativa. It grows tall and forms long, elegant branches. Its structure makes it an ideal candidate for growing methods such as SCROG (Screen of Green) and LST (Low Stress Training), especially in indoor conditions where height control is key.
Expect the long branches to require support in the later stages of flowering so they can bear the weight of heavy, resinous buds.
Cultivation and massive yields
Indoors, it requires a longer flowering time, namely 10–11 weeks, so it can fully develop its complex profile and resin production. The reward for patience is a harvest of up to 800 grams per square metre.
When grown outdoors, it is ready for harvest in mid-October (in the northern hemisphere) and, in ideal conditions, can deliver an impressive yield of up to 1500 grams per plant. It thrives in equatorial, tropical, subtropical and temperate climates.
