Origin and genetic line
This strain is the result of a masterful cross between the North American indica Strawberry Fields and classic European sativa genetics Haze. The result is a stable hybrid with a dominant Sativa component (approximately 80%), which takes the best from both worlds - the vigour and structure of Haze and the unique aromatic base of Strawberry Fields.
Cultivation and growth characteristics
One of the main benefits of Strawberry Cough is its adaptability and resilience, which makes it suitable even for less experienced growers. The plant has a typical sativa structure with longer branches and generous internodal spacing. In indoor conditions, it grows to a manageable height of 100-150 cm, while being capable of producing 450-500 grams per square metre in just 9 weeks of flowering.
When grown outdoors, it shows its full potential, where it can reach a height of up to 2 metres. In ideal conditions and a mild climate, you can expect a harvest of up to 650 grams from one plant. Outdoor harvest takes place in early to mid-October.
Appearance and terpene profile
The flowers of Strawberry Cough are a true gem. They have a typically conical shape, are very dense and covered with a dazzling layer of resin. At lower temperatures, some phenotypes may acquire beautiful purple shades. What truly defines this strain is its aroma. Thanks to dominant terpenes such as myrcene, pinene and caryophyllene, it creates an intense and authentic scent of freshly picked strawberries, fruit jam and sweets, complemented by subtle earthy and peppery notes inherited from the Haze ancestor.
