Sour Ripper Auto: Iconic aroma at autoflowering speed

We present Sour Ripper Auto, the autoflowering version of our award-winning Sour Ripper variety. The aim of this project was to preserve all the key characteristics of the legendary Sour Diesel genetics – above all its unmistakable terpene profile – and package them into an easy-to-grow, fast autoflowering format.

This sativa-dominant hybrid (60 % Sativa / 40 % Indica) is the ideal choice for growers who crave an authentic experience but prefer the simplicity and efficiency of autoflowering annual plants.

Growing characteristics and fast cycle

One of the main advantages of this variety is its complete life cycle, which takes only 70 to 80 days from germination to harvest. The plant shows strong and vigorous growth, making it suitable for both beginner and experienced growers. It reaches a medium height of around 75–100 cm and develops a dominant central stem with strong side branching.

Compared with its photoperiod sister, it has a more compact structure and less foliage, which significantly simplifies the subsequent harvest. For optimal results, especially indoors, we recommend setting a continuous light cycle of 20 hours of light and 4 hours of darkness. The plant also tolerates high nutrient levels (EC) well.

Harvest and flower quality

Sour Ripper Auto is a highly productive variety. Under indoor conditions, you can expect yields of up to 500 g/m². The flowers are dense, compact and completely covered in a thick, sticky layer of high-quality resin. They also stand out for their high flower-to-leaf ratio, which contributes to their attractiveness and easy trimming.

Authentic Sour Diesel terpene profile

The defining feature is its intense and authentic sensory profile, which faithfully reproduces the classic Sour Diesel experience. The aroma is strong and complex, dominated by piercing sour, citrus and pronounced fuel (Diesel) notes. It is a strong and penetrating scent that stays in the memory for a long time.
