The complete life cycle of this annual plant takes just 59 to 63 days (approx. 8.5 to 9 weeks) from germination. Immediately after germination, the plant establishes a dynamic vegetative pace, quickly builds its root system and smoothly transitions into an intensive flower-production phase.
When grown outdoors, you will appreciate the possibility of successive harvests from the end of June until the end of October, depending on when the seeds are sown. In favourable climatic conditions, it is therefore possible to complete several growing cycles during a single season without difficulty.
Morphology, yield and technical growing parameters
The plant develops a compact and harmonious structure resembling a symmetrical Christmas tree, with a strong main stem and numerous side branches. Indoors under an 18/6 or 20/4 schedule, it provides a yield of 500 to 550 g/m2, while outdoors it grows to a practical height of 1.2 to 1.6 metres with a yield of 100 to 400 g per plant.
Its rounded, massive flowers stand out for their high density and abundant resin coating, which also densely covers the surrounding sugar leaves. The branches are naturally reinforced and can easily support the weight of the ripening flowers. For maximum root development, we recommend a light, well-aerated substrate with good drainage.
