We present Purple Thai, a feminised and carefully stabilised version of 100% pure Sativa landrace originating from Thailand. This legendary annual plant retains its unique characteristics, including high potency with 24% THC content and a classic, elegant structure.
Exotic terpene profile
Get ready for an exotic, sweet and fruity terpene profile. It is dominated by distinct notes of tropical fruit such as mango and papaya, complemented by a refreshing hint of lemon. This profile also becomes even more intense after proper maturation.
Classic Sativa in all its glory
The plant grows in a classic sativa structure: tall, slender and elegant, with long conical flowers and narrow leaves. The flowers are typically dark green, but some phenotypes can develop a beautiful purple sheen on both the flowers and the leaves. The appearance is completed by long, orange pistils.
Cultivation and managing height
Due to its pure sativa genetics, Purple Thai has a long flowering time of 11 to 13 weeks and shows significant stretching. When grown indoor, it can reach a height of 160–250 cm, so sufficient space and height management techniques such as SCROG are essential. Despite its space requirements, it is generally easy to care for and shows good resistance to pests and diseases.
Huge yields for patient growers
In indoor conditions, yields are generous, ranging from 650 to 750 g per square metre.
When grown outdoor in a warm and sunny climate, the plant can reach its full potential and grow to an incredible height of up to 4 metres. Harvest is usually at the end of October, and each plant is capable of producing up to 1000 grams.
