Purple Punch: The power of pure indica and the taste of apple pie

We present Purple Punch, a pure indica powerhouse (90 % Indica / 10 % Sativa), which is the result of combining two legendary West Coast USA genetics: classic Larry OG and iconic Granddaddy Purple. The aim of this breeding was to create a plant with a stunning appearance, fast flowering and an absolutely delicious profile.

Growing characteristics and profile

This variety grows into a short, sturdy and heavily branched plant, making it very easy to manage and ideal even for smaller spaces. It is a robust and resilient plant that shows strong resistance to mould and other pests, which makes it a reliable choice for various environments.

In indoor conditions, it maintains a very compact growth habit, typically reaching a height of around 90 cm. Outdoors it is slightly larger, but still manageable, with a height of up to 1.5 metres.

Extremely fast harvest and XXL yields

Purple Punch is a photoperiod variety with a very fast flowering time in indoor conditions, lasting only 50 to 60 days. Outdoor growers in the northern hemisphere can look forward to harvest from the second to the third week of September, making it an excellent choice for shorter seasons.

Despite its compact size, this is an exceptionally high-yielding (XXL) variety. Indoors you can achieve a massive harvest of up to 600–700 g/m². Outdoors, under optimal conditions, one plant can produce an incredible 2000 grams (2 kg). The flowers are large, heavy, extremely dense and celebrated for their exceptional resin production, which gives them a sparkling, almost sugary appearance.

The defining feature is its exceptional dessert profile. The aroma is divine, reminiscent of freshly baked apple pie with a hint of clove, complemented by the sweet scent of blueberry muffins and cherries. This impression is perfectly reflected in the flavour profile too, bringing a delicate and tempting taste of baked sweet apple pie with a clove finish.
