Pure Durban: Legendary Sativa adapted to modern cultivation
We present Pure Durban, a feminised and stabilised version of 100% pure Sativa landrace originating from South Africa. This legendary annual plant retains its original characteristics, but has been adapted for modern cultivation, which is reflected in its exceptional resistance and a very short flowering time for a sativa.
Appearance and structure of a classic Sativa
The plant shows the classic sativa structure – it grows tall, with branches of varying lengths and bright green foliage. The flowers are elongated, dense and gradually become covered with a thick layer of white, crystalline resin. Their appearance is striking, with an intense lime-green colour highlighted by orange pistils and occasional purple reflections.
Intense fruity terpene profile
The terpene profile is intensely fruity and sweet, a characteristic that becomes even more pronounced during subsequent ripening. Prepare for a clean and penetrating odour that is absolutely typical of this legendary genetics.
Cultivation and recommendations
Despite its pure sativa genetics, Pure Durban has a relatively short flowering time of 9 to 10 weeks, making it suitable even for regions with shorter summers. It is also highly resistant to mould and cold.
When grown indoor, the plants show significant stretching and can reach a height of 120–180 cm. You can look forward to yields between 550–600 g per square metre. Due to its vigorous growth, training techniques such as SCROG or SOG are strongly recommended.
When grown outdoor, Pure Durban can turn into a massive plant reaching up to 3.5 metres in height. Harvest is usually ready in mid-October and each plant is capable of producing a very large yield exceeding 850 grams.
