Lemon Skunk: An award-winning classic full of lemon freshness
We present Lemon Skunk, the Highlife Cup winner and a perfect example of a balanced hybrid. It was created by combining the classic Skunk, renowned for its vigour and strong flavour, with the Indian Citral genetics, which add a new layer of complexity to the whole profile. The result is a reliable and highly productive plant.
Lemon Skunk grows with the classic Skunk structure – it is richly branched, with a "vine-like" character and medium to large internodal spacing. The plant has a beautiful, dark green shade and develops strong branches that usually bear the weight of the flowers without additional support.
Terpene profile and flower character
This variety offers a perfect combination of its famous parents. The initial impression is dominated by a strong, sweet and earthy aroma characteristic of Skunk. This is beautifully complemented by the softness of Citral, which brings bright lemon notes. The experience is finished with fresh herbal notes and a hint of spice.
The flowers are rock hard and during flowering become completely covered with a thick layer of white resin. Towards the end of the cycle, the pistils turn bright red and orange, giving the flowers a very aesthetic and attractive appearance.
Growing characteristics for maximum harvest
Thanks to its richly branched nature, Lemon Skunk is a good candidate for growing techniques such as SCROG (Screen of Green) or LST (Low Stress Training), which will help you make efficient use of its production potential.
When growing indoors, it is ready for harvest after just 8 weeks of flowering. Under optimal conditions, it will reward you with a high yield of up to 800 grams per square metre.
In outdoor conditions, it is ready for harvest at the end of September, which is the ideal time for our climate conditions. It can produce up to 800 grams per plant.
