Himalaya Gold: Resilience and yield from the peaks of the world

Introducing Himalaya Gold, an exotic old-school strain that carries the strength and toughness of the Himalayan mountains. This feminised hybrid was created by crossing two original landrace strains from Nepal and northern India, which gave it its most distinctive trait – natural and very high resistance to cold.

Thanks to its origin, it is an ideal choice for outdoor growers in mountainous or more northern climate conditions, where other strains may fail.

Terpene profile and character of the flowers

This strain offers a uniquely spicy, sour and herbal profile that resembles a blend of spices. The dominant terpenes – α-Pinen, ß-Pinen and Myrcene – create distinct notes of pepper, clove and thyme. The result is a classic and pungent flavour, which some phenotypes can complement with sweet, berry undertones.

The flowers are large, dense and characterised by trichomes with small heads and bright red to orange pistils. The plant grows vigorously, is tall, with long internodes and numerous strong branches that will require support.

Growing characteristics: Old-school strength for a massive harvest

Its tendency towards large and branched growth makes it an excellent candidate for the LST (Low Stress Training) technique, which helps control height and maximise production.

When growing indoor, it is ready for harvest after just 8 weeks of flowering. Under optimal conditions, it will reward you with a very high yield of up to 850 grams per square metre.

In outdoor conditions, it will fully show its potential. It is ready for harvest at the end of September, grows to a height of 160–190 cm and can produce a massive harvest of up to 1350 grams per plant.
