Pay tribute to one of Amsterdam's most iconic strains from the early 1990s with Ghamnesia. This exceptional hybrid was created by crossing the legendary Super Silver Haze and the robust genetics of Afghan, resulting in a plant that is a cornerstone of any grower's collection at all levels.
Its greatest strength, apart from its amazing terpene profile, is its high resistance to mould, fungi and pests. This quality makes it an exceptionally reliable choice, especially for outdoor growers facing unpredictable conditions.
Terpene profile and flower character
Ghamnesia delivers a powerful and unmistakable sensory experience. The aroma is an intense blend of sharp, lemon notes, uniquely complemented by a creaminess reminiscent of freshly pressed olive oil. This base is enriched with light nutty and "haze" undertones that leave a long-lasting impression.
The plant grows with great vigour into a beautiful pine tree shape. The flowers form into heavy and beautifully shaped conical tops. They are extremely compact to the touch and gradually become covered in a sparkling layer of shiny trichomes.
Growing characteristics for a magnificent harvest
This strain is designed for generosity and will reward you in both indoor and outdoor conditions. Its strong side branches are able to support the weight of heavy flowers without any problems.
When grown indoors, it is ready for harvest after 9–10 weeks of flowering. You can expect a very high yield of up to 900 grams per square metre.
In outdoor conditions, it is ready for harvest at the end of September and the beginning of October. It grows to an average height of 170–200 cm and can produce up to 700 grams per plant.
