Future Island: A New Standard of Potency and Yield

We present Future Island, a feminised strain with strong sativa dominance (70%), created by combining two of our most potent genetics: the legendary Future #1 and Imperium X. The aim was to set new standards for cannabinoid and terpene content, and this was achieved – THC content consistently tests at over 34%.

Exotic terpene profile

Get ready for an intense and exotic blend of fruity and minty notes. The terpene profile offers a predominantly sweet and fruity odour, complemented by a fresh, cooling mint aroma and subtle earthy undertones that develop towards the end.

Growing characteristics and recommendations

This strain produces flowers of amazing size and density, which become covered in a thick, sparkling layer of resin as they ripen. Future Island is a fairly large plant that requires a sufficient supply of nutrients, plenty of light and a good climate to reach its full potential.

To optimise growth structure and yields, lower branch pruning (lollipopping) is recommended for indoor growing and the topping method for outdoor growing. Especially in the late flowering stage, good air circulation is important, as dense flowers can retain moisture.

Growing and massive yields

When grown indoor, the plants reach a height of 130–160 cm and have a flowering time of 9 to 10 weeks, with potential yields of up to 650 g per square metre.

When grown outdoor, they turn into a very large plant, reaching a height between 200 and 270 cm. Harvest is ready at the end of September, and each plant can produce a massive yield in the range of 800 to 1400 grams.
