Flowerbomb Kush: An award-winning champion with explosive character
We present Flowerbomb Kush, the winner of the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2012. This feminised variety is the result of combining the energetic genetics of Green Crack and the legendary strength of OG Kush. The result is a premium hybrid with 70% indica dominance, a celebration of speed, strength and a complex terpene profile.
The plant grows to a medium height, but unlike typical Kush varieties it stretches more and forms long side branches that compete with the main stem. The leaves are strong, overlapping and have a very dark green colour that can shift to black shades.
Terpene profile and character of the flowers
The aromatic profile is deeply earthy and classically "Kushy", yet with layers of sweet orange, floral rose and warming spice. The dominant terpenes Myrcene and β-Caryophyllene provide a rich experience. To achieve the sweetest and fruitiest expression, we recommend growing in a soil substrate.
The flowers are irregular, dense and compact, with extra-large calyxes. Resin production is exceptionally strong, giving them a sticky, almost wet appearance. Under certain conditions, the plant may form so-called "foxtails".
Growing characteristics: Speed and versatility
One of Flowerbomb Kush's greatest strengths is its incredibly short flowering time, which is just 7 weeks. This variety is very versatile and performs well in hydroponic systems, where it thrives at medium EC values.
When growing indoors, you can achieve a yield of up to 0.8 grams per watt per square metre, which with 1000W lighting means up to 800 g/m².
In outdoor conditions, it is a very vigorous plant with long branches that produces 80–100 grams per plant after 7 weeks of flowering.
