The “Fast version” category (often referred to as Fast Version or Fast Flowering) offers growers a unique combination of the best traits from two distinct cannabis worlds - classic photoperiod and modern auto-flowering varieties. How does it work?

Fast versions are created by crossing a selected photoperiodic (classic feminised) variety with auto-flowering (autoflowering) genetics. This breeding process produces a new generation of F1 hybrids that take the high yield and potential from the photoperiod parent, while inheriting the gene for extra-fast flowering from the auto-flowering parent. Importantly, unlike purely auto-flowering varieties they remain dependent on the light cycle (photoperiod), but their flowering phase is significantly shorter.
