Chemdog: A legend with unmistakable aroma and high CBD content
We present Chemdog, a feminised variety that is a true icon. It was created from an S1 cross of the original Chemdog clone, whose lineage blends the influence of legends such as OG Kush and Sour Diesel. The result is a hybrid with 70% indica dominance, renowned for its incredible strength and absolutely unique terpene profile.
The plant grows tall and stretches significantly during flowering. It does not form an excessive number of branches, but those that do grow are long and will require support to bear the weight of the future dense and heavy flowers.
Terpene profile and flower character
Chemdog is renowned for its incredibly pungent and distinctive aroma, which fully matches its name. Its dominant terpenes – Myrcene, α-Pinene and Linalool – create a strong gassy and chemical aroma with intense sour notes. This complex profile is complemented by pungent, lemon and classic Kush undertones that leave a lasting impression.
The flowers are dense, round, light green in colour and, during flowering, become completely covered with a thick layer of sticky resin crystals.
Growing characteristics for maximum harvest
Given its tall and stretched growth, Chemdog is an excellent candidate for the SCROG (Screen of Green) method. This technique will help you effectively control its height, support the branches and maximise light exposure for all parts of the plant.
When grown indoors, it is ready for harvest after 9 weeks of flowering. Under optimal conditions, you can expect a very high yield of up to 800 grams per square metre.
In outdoor conditions, it is ready for harvest in early October. With enough space and sun, one plant can produce a massive harvest of up to 1000 grams.
