We present Big Bang, a true icon and holder of 3rd place at the High Times Cannabis Cup 2000. This feminised strain is the result of combining three legendary genetics: Skunk, Northern Light and El Niño. Its qualities are so widely recognised that it was previously sold in Dutch pharmacies as a prescription medicine.

Terpene profile and flower character

The aromatic profile is a perfect combination of old-school genetics. It blends the sweet and pungent scent of Skunk with the earthy and spicy notes of Northern Lights, complemented by the sharp nuances of El Niño. The dominant terpenes Myrcene, α-Pinene and Caryophyllene create a complex experience that some describe as floral with notes of sweet apple.

The plant grows into a very short, bushy and heavily branched structure that is naturally wider than it is tall. The flowers are large, dense and covered with a thick layer of shiny trichomes.

Growing characteristics: Maximum yields in a compact package

Thanks to its broad and branched structure, Big Bang is exceptionally suitable for the SCROG (Screen of Green) growing technique, which allows you to fully use its production potential.

When grown indoors, it is commercially ready in 8 weeks, but to achieve the full spectrum of cannabinoids, it is recommended to let it flower for a full 9 weeks. You can expect very high yields of up to 800 g/m².

In outdoor conditions, it is ready for harvest at the end of September. It reaches an average height of 160–180 cm and, in optimal conditions, one plant can produce an impressive 1000 grams.
