Product detailed description
Apricot Candy: The combination of sweet fruit and GSC power
Apricot Candy is a premium hybrid from the California collection, created by combining the iconic Thin Mint GSC variety and the classic, high-yielding sativa Dutch Dragon. The result is indica-dominant genetics (70 % Indica / 30 % Sativa), which combines potent resin production with vigorous growth and a sweet fruity profile.
Vigorous growth and abundant harvest
The plant shows vigorous growth from the very beginning, creating a strong main stem and robust side branches that can easily support a heavy harvest. The influence of the sativa from Dutch Dragon is evident in the noticeable stretch during flowering, making it an ideal candidate for training techniques such as scrogging and LST.
The flowers are exceptionally dense, large and rock-hard. Their surface is covered with such a thick layer of trichomes that they look frosted. As the plant matures, it often turns into beautiful shades of dark purple, creating a stunning visual contrast with bright orange pistils.
Performance indoors and outdoors
In indoor conditions, Apricot Candy is a high-performing plant that completes its flowering cycle in approximately 9 weeks. Under optimal conditions, you can look forward to yields of up to 550 grams per square metre, while it usually grows to a manageable height of around 1 metre.
Outdoor, this variety performs best in a warmer and sunny climate, where it can fully develop its potential and grow to truly large dimensions. In the Northern Hemisphere, harvest is scheduled for mid-October. With enough light and space, outdoor yields can be enormous and reach up to 1000 grams per plant. In addition, it has good natural resistance to mould.
Unmistakable terpene profile
Aroma and flavour are where Apricot Candy truly excels. After drying, the flowers offer a complex and layered experience. Sweet notes of apricots, fresh figs and apples dominate, complemented by characteristic undertones of vanilla and baked biscuits. Everything is finished with an earthy, spicy aftertaste. The main terpenes are Caryophyllene, Limonene and Humulene.
