Afgooey: A Californian legend full of resin

For the first time in history, you have the opportunity to obtain the legendary Afgooey genetics in the form of feminised seeds. This gem from Northern California, previously available only as a clone, brings the best of its heritage, combining the genes of Afghan and Maui Haze in a ratio of 70% indica and 30% sativa.

The plant is characterised by a typical indica structure – it is bushy, with a short internodal distance (under 5 cm), strong branches and thick, dark green leaves. This robust build is the basis for a future abundant harvest.

Terpene profile and flower character

Afgooey is renowned for its extreme resin production, which appears on the flowers already in the early flowering stage, resulting in incredibly sticky and dense flowers. The flowers themselves are compact, pear-shaped and made up of medium-sized to large calyxes.

Its complex terpene profile, dominated by myrcene, ocimene, caryophyllene and humulene, creates an intense aroma. You can look forward to strong notes of orange and tropical fruit, complemented by earthier and kush undertones with a hint of lemon.

Growing Afgooey: Speed and efficiency

This variety is every grower's dream who is looking for speed and high yield. Thanks to its resilience, it also tolerates higher EC values well and is exceptionally suitable for growing techniques such as Sea of Green (SOG) or SCROG.

When growing indoors, it is ready for harvest after just 8 weeks of flowering. The standard yield is around 500 gr/m², but experienced growers can achieve up to 0.9 grams per watt per square metre (e.g. 900 gr/m² under 1000W HPS lighting).

In outdoor conditions, Afgooey is ready for harvest at the end of September. It grows to a height of 150–170 cm and the average yield per plant is an impressive 700 grams. With optimal care, the largest specimens can produce more than 1 kg of dried flowers.
